Do I need to be technical to use Claude Cowork a!er it’s set up?
No — and that’s the point.
Claude Cowork is designed by Anthropic specifically for non-technical knowledge workers. What Claude subscription do I need to use Cowork?
Claude Cowork is available on Pro (£17/month), Max (from £83/month), Team, and Enterprise plans.
It is not available on the free tier. For most small business owners, the Pro plan is a sufficient starting point. Cowork does consume usage limits faster than standard chat — if you plan to run multiple scheduled workflows daily, the Max plan is worth considering. ExecuAssist will recommend the right plan for your intended usage during your discovery call.
Is my business data safe when I use Claude Cowork?
Anthropic has built Cowork with specific privacy protections:
conversation history is stored locally on your device, not on Anthropic’s servers. You grant Claude access only to the specific folders and connectors you choose — it cannot access anything outside those permissions. ExecuAssist’s setup service includes a safe-use briefing that covers what to share, what to keep separate, and how to structure your folder permissions to protect sensitive business information. ExecuAssist is also ICO registered and handles all client data in accordance with UK GDPR.
How long does the setup take and do I need to be available throughout?
Most setups are completed within 2–3 weeks from scoping to handover.
Your involvement is concentrated at the beginning (a 60-minute discovery and scoping session) and the end (a 60–90 minute handover and walkthrough). The build work in between is handled by Chantell. You’ll receive progress check-ins at agreed milestones and can provide feedback on prompts and workflows before anything is finalised.
What if I already have some workflows or tools in place — can you work with what I have?
Yes — in fact, this is the preferred starting point.
ExecuAssist audits your existing tools, folder structures, and processes before building anything new. The goal is to integrate Claude Cowork into your current working environment, not replace it. Where your existing systems are well-organised, Cowork connects to them. Where they need improvement, ExecuAssist will flag this and propose light-touch improvements as part of the setup.
